YEARBOOK

Class Description:
This class invites students to capture the moments & memories of our year by creating a yearbook. Students will learn collaboration, Journalism, layout & Editing as we create this timeless keepsake together. We will use Treering, a user-friendly yearbook software that creates beautiful results.

CHESS CLUB

Chess Club is available for all ages and skill levels! We will learn and master skills to succeed when playing the game of Chess. Each week we will learn new strategies and implement them in class. We aim to have tournaments and compete with other groups as well.

Class Description: Cooking class for 2nd-12th grade. We will start off with safety and etiquette in the kitchen, then move to making specific recipes and creating a dish to eat each class.

COOKING

Prerequisite: Must have had at least 2 semesters of Cooking Class & instructor approval to join class
Class Description: Middle-High School/or must have 2 years of the regular class. This class will be part classroom and part kitchen time. We will take 2 classes a month to learn concepts such as menu creation, ingredients and budget, brand vs generic, herbs and spices, serving size, mixing flavors, creating and designing a recipe, event planning, table setting and etiquette, etc in the classroom. Then we will take the other 2 classes in the month to get in the kitchen and make a full meal vs one dish in class. This class will be more in depth and skill oriented and will have assignments at home.

KINDERGARTEN KIDS

Class Description:
A class for homeschooled kindergarteners to learn through play. We will learn about the world around us(bits of science, social studies and math) through games, crafts, story time, parties,and exploring the outdoors! Kindergarten Kids will also work to memorize scripture and songs to be performed for our cap and gown kindergarten graduation at the end of the school year!

Class Description:
Bring favorite stories to life in this hands-on class designed specifically for curious elementary students (Grades K-2nd.) Each week, we dive into a captivating picture book, exploring rich themes, unique characters, and vibrant illustrations. After reading, students channel their inspiration into a creative craft project or help create a delicious, themed snack that connects directly to the story. With inspiration from the many books we will read, students will work week to week on a storybook that they create themselves. Their stories and crafts will be shared at family night at the end of each semester!
