PERFORMANCE THEATRE

Class Description:
This is a 2-hour class. Students will develop character, stage confidence and grow their musicality, storytelling, & body posturing through the basics of performance. Some rehearsals & performances will be scheduled outside of class.

ACTING 101
Grade Range: 5th-12th

Class Description: We will learn a variety of skills that will make us better actors. We will learn character development, juggling, walking on stilts, stage positioning, and improv. This class is lots of fun! Come ready to laugh!

ADVANCED ACTING

Class Description: This class will build on the principles taught in Acting 101. We will deepen our understanding of how to use our scripts to further our character building and overall performance. We will talk in depth about auditions, and how to stand out to a director. We will talk about different performance styles that have existed through history. We will continue to further our improv skills and have lots of fun! If you are signing up for this class and have something specific that you want to learn, please let me know!

BACKSTAGE CREW

Class Description:
Students will assist Theatre Classes with many elements of stage management for fall/spring Musicals. Students will design & create sets/props. Students MUST also serve behind the scenes during tech week & at least 1 musical theatre show during Show Week as the Crew. Monthly Tuition: $35/month
